Digital Photography Tips – Time Lapse – Hurricane Irene Edition Here is a bonus video on using Nikon’s built-in Intervalometer to create Time Lapse Photography. This time, I used Adobe Lightroom to create the video rather than iMovie. After importing the images in Lightroom, I cropped (16×9) and edited one image. Then I synchronized those settings across all 813 frames. I then switched to the Slideshow module and exported all images as a 24fps video. This video is more about thinking about your preparation for shooting opportunities than the actual shoot itself. Sometimes photography is hit or miss. You can plan all you want, but circumstances will change and being flexible and adaptable is important. I’m glad that the time lapse video isn’t that exciting because thankfully there was not much damage to my area of Brooklyn. My heart and thoughts go out to everyone on the East Coast who’s families, friends, homes and properties were affected.
